US President Donald Trump can announce his new policy on Cuba next week in Miami and some decisions taken during Barack Obama's time can be overturned. The Trump Administration is talking about an approach that stops business with the Cuban armed force while keeping up full political relations reestablished by Obama.

The White House is also discussing the ban on Americans going to Cuba. A person familiar with the scheme said on condition of anonymity that so far the timing for this announcement has not been decided.

However, there is the pressure of MPs and businessmen on the Trump Administration to continue their relationship with Havana. Under American law, citizens here will be banned from going to Cuba, but it will be allowed in some circumstances. For this 12 categories have been set. If a U.S. citizen wants to go to Cuba, he can get approval only under these 12 categories. The Obama administration had removed the Cuban Travel Bans, after which thousands of people started going to Havana for the holidays.
